Bio

Since makeup artist Chelsea Allen can remember she had always been fascinated with shapes, textures, and colors. From a very young age she was exposed to the drama and theatrics of beauty by spending her childhood as a dancer. Having spent the majority of her life on stage, it became necessary to master her own makeup for rehearsals, performances, and competitions therefore laying the foundation for an aspiring career in makeup. Like dance, she found makeup to be another form of artistic expression and began practicing on fellow dancers, friends and family.

After graduating high school, Chelsea had her mind set on a full time makeup career. She worked countless retail positions that taught her how to sell and market major cosmetics brands, manage client relationships, and become proficient in the art of makeup. Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Chelsea moved to Los Angeles in 2006, where she attended Make-Up Designory (MUD) , specializing in beauty and portfolio development. During that time, she immediately began working, assisting other well-known make-up artists, and building her own business.

SInce then Chelsea has proven to be an asset to any production moving effortlessly between editorial, commercial, television and film. Her passion and infectious optimism inspire those around her, and her impeccable work ethic and creativity put her at the top of her game.
